News: Site Update

The new Goth Girl of the Week template is up. Please feel free to leave us comments on it at the bottom of this post.

Why did we switch to a new blog template? It was time, and we were having some problems with the add-ons in the sidebars. We are considering this V5.0. There will be some revisions in the coming weeks:

3 started work on retro-ing all Features to Slimbox format.

4.a changed the color of Chrome bar and borders to a #f50fec pink in honor of Pink Shirt Day everyday.

Site News: February

We've updated the Rules for submitting to Goth Girl of the Week, and are getting ready to make our first Profile. We'll surprise you with it in the next week or two.

Site: Winter Posts

Due to members time constrants, we are changing the way we post for the winter season. We will simply post images and links back to the features site. Bios or write-ups will only be posted when they come from the submiter.

We will return to our regular style in January when our members have more time, post holliday madness and hell.

News: Halloween Break

Sorry to say that there will be no new Goth Girl of the Week this week.
With everything going on for Samhain (Halloween) we've been too busy to write the feature. This should give you the opertunity to gather more images and submit yourself to be a Goth Girl of the Week.
To clairify, we are looking for: goth, gothic; girls, gals, babes, women, ladies, vixens, cuties, dames or nymphs wearing costumes and outfits in the industrial goth, lolita goth, dark victorian, deathrock or cyberpunk style.

How it works

Welcome to Goth Girl of the Week (GGotW) your home to see or be, the nets hottest goth girl. Once we get the ball rolling this site will feature a new goth girl every week as well as News and Profiles of photographers & sites that bring you the best gothic content.

Seeing as Blogger can adjust the number of posts shown at any time we will be altering this as we make new posts. At the top of the page should be our Goth Girl of the Week followed by Profiles and News.

At the end of the month the Committee, currently four members, will vote for their favorite Goth Girl of the Month, who will be invited to vote on the following month's girl.

For those who've been asking to see a sample of what the site is going to look like, we are working on it, just the designer has been swamped at work of late.

Those that have been talked to about the photoshoot, its looking more and more like Aug 11-13 in the James Bay area.
