GGotw: What is your favorite modeling style?
EA: I like fetish and art nude most of all.

GGotw: What is it that draws your towards Fetish Modeling?
EA: As for me I have strong obsession on dark images demonstrating sexual aggression. I admire high heels (extemely high). And expression of yourself. It's your own world, your personal fantazies. No limits, no rules, no conservative poses.

GGotw: Do you get a lot of opportunity to model?
EA: Yes, I get a lot opportunity to model. But I want more.

GGotw: Does your personal style match your musical tastes?
EA: In some way it matches.

GGotw: What are your musical tastes?
EA: I enjoy black metal, old school thrash metal.

GGotw: Who have you done shoots with?
EA: Toni Salminen, Studioivolution.com and many other photograhers.

GGotw: Do you ever get strangers asking you odd questions on the street?
EA: Yes, I am a strange person too.

GGotw: When people on the street come-up to you, what kinds of things you they say/ask?
EA: Fetish style is almost strange to Russia. No special shops, not many fetish parties and lack of professional fetish photographers and models. When I have shootings in the streets people always stop near. Russians are conservative. They don't like anyone looking strange. They say: "You look like funny" or "Go away you bastards"

GGotw: How do you respond to them?
EA: I am a rude person. I can hit. **Laughing**.

GGotW: How long have you been modeling?
DD: I have been modeling for about a year and a half now.

GGotW: What got you started in Modeling?
DD: Whenever I get asked that question its hard for me to explain. I have always been huge into alt fashion and the models I saw when I was growing up really inspired me even though they were high fashion and nothing like I do now. I didnt realize that there was an alt modeling scene really until I was about 16. I had always thought about modeling but pushed it aside until I turned 18. A week or so after I was 18 I just thought I would try it out and I liked it so I havn't stop.

GGotW: What led you on the path towards goth / alt scene?
DD: When I was about 11 my brother introduced me to The Misfits and I never really looked back :-p I was lucky enough to have someone in my family that had good taste in music. The Misfits then introduced me to other darker punk bands like The Damned and Samhain and then I found more darkwave and batcave stuff. I just knew it was for me. I never even really liked music until I heard The Misfits.

GGotW: Who have you modeled for?
DD: I have worked with Lush Latex They have really cute pin up looking latex designs,
Wisconsin Skinny and Just recently I worked with the wonderful Karen Von Oopen, she has beautiful neck corsets!

GGotW: Who have you modeled with?
DD: I have modeled with a few other Chicago models like Jessie-Lynne, Maya Sinstress, Amiria Divine and Lilith Ave Satanas. They are all beautiful and nice girls and I'm very lucky to call them all my friends.

GGotW: What types of clothes do you like to model?
DD: I LOVE latex. I always liked the way it looked but I just recently tried it on. I'm hooked! I love modeling anything odd and out there, I love any designs that look very apocalyptic like AMF Corsets.

GGotW: Why did you attend the Pontiac Michigan Exotica Expo?
DD: I had never attended a fetish event and Michigan is only a few hours from me so I thought I would try it out. I worked with a few photographers while I was there and networked and met other models and photographers. I'm glad I went and happy I didn't have to fly all the way to California or Florida where most of the fetish events seem to be held.

GGotW: Who did you meet?
DD: I met a lot of random people just attending and a few models like Angela Ryan, who was such a sweet girl.

GGotW: What are your modeling goals?
DD: I would like to work with more designers, that's a really big goal. I've only been in print once so I would really like to appear in more magazines. I'm trying to build my site right now as well. I try to go with the flow as much as possible and see where this all takes me.

GGotW: What print work have you done?
DD: I was in a magazine called Madison Magazine June 2008 (Its from Wisconsin, In the United States).

GGotW: When did you start modeling?
MN: I started modeling in September 2001 - I was accosted by somebody in a disco. After my first photo shoot I joined a few different model forums and socialized there with other photographers.

GGotW: What got you started?
MN: I started with gothic photography, in my private life I've been in the goth scene since 1998, but I also like other genres. I like: Gothic, fetish, horror, fantasy, trash, artistic nude, bodypainting, glamor, pin up... I am very versatile and I love it to show 1000 different faces. And I have a very black sense of humour, I like crazy ideas, they can be bloody, they can be sick, they can be striking...

GGotW: Has it been constant work or spotty?
MN: Both. Sometimes I had many photoshoots in a short time and sometimes I worked spotty. I actually have successfully completed over 220 shootings in Germany and in Switzerland.

GGotW: Have you worked with any big photographers?
MN: Yes, of course. I have worked with : Herr Buchta, Art in Black, Stephan Sackmann, Oliver Marzischewski, Nicolas Henri, Elisabeth Hackmann, Andreas Lehrke, Ulrich Grolla, Heile Mania, Peter Vyge ( Pevy ), Skunk(ed), Tom Bixx, Ruediger Schestag, Der Natzo, Michael Waldau...

Altogether I have worked with over 100 photographers.

GGotW: Have you made any magazine appearances? What was it like?
MN: Yes. I had publications in many different magazines ( Dark Spy, GOTHIC Magazine, Crawling Tunes Magazine, The Serpent ( UK ), Unscene Magazine ( UK ), FOTOHEFT, fotoMAGAZIN... ). In addition I had many publications on flyers and some publications in books.

GGotW: What area of Germany are you in?
MN: I live in the South West of Germany - near Heidelberg. It's in the North of the federal state Baden-Wuerttemberg.

GGotW: Can you describe the scene there?
MN: You can find many clubs here and some gothic shops - the scene in this area is very widespread. And there are some bigger and well-known festivals in Germany -

every year on Pentecost you can visit the WGT ( Wave-Gotik-Treffen ) in Leipzig, in late summer the M'era Luna festival happens in Hildesheim, furthermore there are some more festivals like the Amphi festival or the Feuertanz festival... And you also have some smaller festivals like the Dark Dance Treffen in Lahr, smaller events and many concerts.

The variety is really great !

GGotW: If someone was to visit, what shops would you send them to?
MN: Mannheim : BATCAVE / Gothic-Obsession
Karlsruhe : X-Tra-X, The Spirit Shop, Schwarzwaren

In classical gothic shops like them I buy in the main typical dark wear, vinyl clothing, corsets and gothic styled shoes. But often I buy my clothes in ordinary shops like H&M, too or sometimes I buy dark wear in sex shops.

GGotW: Are there any good clubs you could recommend?
MN: Of course !
Mannheim : Genesis, MS Connexion
Karlsruhe : Nachtwerk, Culteum
Stuttgart : Die Röhre
Darmstadt : Steinbruch-Theater ( gothic & metal )
Frankfurt ( Main ) : The Cave
Mainz : KUZ

But there are many more... ;)

GGotW: Where do you see yourself in five years?
MN: I don't know - but I hope, I can become bigger and more famous. Here in Germany many people in the Gothic scene know my name and know my photos. But it would be pretty cool, if I could be an internationally well-known Gothic model.

And I hope, I will still have a happy life in five years ;)

Jinx was born in the southern part of Iceland and grew up in the Baltimore/DC area. She recently moved to Charlotte, NC in 2007 to live with her fiance and work for Single Cell Productions as a dancer, stage actress and performance artist . Among other things she's a contortionist with a strong background in dance/musical theater as well as acting, the fine arts and figure skating.

Currently Jinx is working on her 3rd movie, and her first leading role. A slasher/horror film entitled "Special Affects", as well as touring the east coast with Purgatory-TheShow, where she performs by night and models by day.

GGotW: What got you started in performance?
Jinx: Well my parents have a strong background in the arts and they were a big influence on me. I started in ballet when I was about 3 years old, and figure skating when I was 7 years old. I loved it and was a competitive figure skater for 7 years. From there, I joined a performance art company where I did mostly dance & musical theatre. I was doing that for a few years, all the while getting into the whole goth/underground scene primarily because of how it's so influenced by the fine arts and self-expression. I found everything about it so beautiful and appealing to me, and through it all I've met so many awesome people who are really accepting and colorful despite the world who's so often shunned them for one reason or another, kind of like an "island of misfit toys" so to speak.

GGotW: What led you to Purgatory and fetish performances?
Jinx: Basically one thing just led to another. As I said, I got into the whole goth/underground scene in the DC/Baltimore area, where I met a few friends who would come up from Charlotte and told me about the Purgatory events down there. I came to visit them in April of 2007, where I attended my first Purgatory, and just instantly really liked the scene and the city itself. I thought the fusion of performance art with a bit of a fetish twist with a goth/underground event was really cool and thought it might be something I'd really like to be a part of. So I moved to Charlotte and joined Single Cell Productions (the company that does Purgatory), in May of 2008, and have been there ever since. Shortly thereafter, I met my now-fiance Dave Harlequin (the event's promotions/pr director). We hit it off almost instantly and fell in love in something of a storybook scenario. So in a way Purgatory and fetish performances kind of led me to my future husband.

GGotW: Why the name Jinx?
Jinx: Well, life is all about freak occurrences, and I don't take it in the sense of it being a bad thing. Say for example if I'm talking with someone and we say something at the same time, almost as though we were reading each other's minds. It's those type of weird coincidences that interest me the most in life, because nothing is really coincidental. I believe that everything happens for a reason, yet everything in my life seems like some amazing string of coincidences, yet it all falls into place too well for me not to believe I live a charmed life. Thus I took the name Jinx as sort of an homage to that.

GGotW: What got you modeling?
Jinx: Well it was something that I'd never tried before, and I decided to give it a shot. As it turned out, I really enjoyed it and seemed to have a knack for it. So I kept doing it, improving with each photo shoot, thanks in part to several talented people I've had the luxury of working with over the years. I've now built a pretty impressive portfolio and am finally starting to see my hard work pay off getting into so many publications and what not. It makes me really happy to succeed in such a tough industry and I just feel really thankful to everyone who's helped make it all possible.

GGotW: What waist size do you get down to in a corset?
Jinx: hmm.. well I've never actually measured... but I'd assume it would bring me down to around 18" that's something I'd like to look into myself.
