Features were split quite evenly with 12 from North America, 3 from the British Isles, 6 from Europe and 3 from Oceania (Australia/New Zealand). This year we got our first entries from Canada and from the American Pacific Northwest. Out of our 24 entries, 2 were from Belgium and 6 from the American East Coast.
What is it with North Carolina? We have had more Goth Girls of the Week from that state than either New York or California or any other territory, not what you would expect.
Visits per month are down to 10,900 from a high of 12,300 last year, must be the economy. On the good side we have picked up over 220 subscribers, thank you Google.
As I posted this article originally on Dec 8th, I received word of the passing of one of our members from 2006. Cyanotica was the 5th Goth Girl of the Week and the first with dreads. There is a Guest Book on her obituary page, and a Facebook page.Its time to take a look at the girls from this year and vote for the Goth Girl of the Year. I am going to try a new system to allow you, the public, to vote for your favorite. Let me make it clear now, the public vote will NOT! be the final determiner of Goth Girl of the Year. For details read here.
As in past years, the girls will vote, as will my assistants and I. The final result will be revealed as Goth Girl of the Year 2010 in January.

Stiletto 13 has suddenly like 700votes more in a couple of days, qhen in some weeks got only about 200... it seems suspicious for me O_o
I've known Ms. Stiletto since she began her modeling career and also taught her a lot about modeling. Your comment above is very innocuous and presumptuous , based on what little you know about her? She has over 20 years of modeling experience , and has accumulated a huge number of fans , friends and supporters, all of whom love and admire her for being a great person , as well as a talented alternative model. Could your statement be based on "sour grapes" of some sort? Maybe you don't like mature models , or ones of a different ethnicity , or look? Let the judges and fans decide! I'm certain they will follow their own guidelines for judging this contest.
